Makeup Paris pays the same attention to the delivery of your order as it does to the selection of your beauty essentials. Our shipments are handled from Europe to ensure you a reliable service, accurate tracking, and as smooth an experience as possible.

 

1) Delivery Zones

We deliver to:

  • All European Union (EU) countries
  • Internationally (outside the EU), when the destination is eligible for shipping

Important (outside the EU): Some countries may impose import restrictions (customs formalities, local regulations, limited product categories). If a destination cannot be served, we will contact you promptly.

 

2) Order Preparation

Orders are prepared and shipped Monday through Friday (excluding public holidays). Preparation time may vary depending on product availability, but most items are prepared within 24 to 48 business hours.

Goal: to ship your order as quickly as possible, without compromising the care given to packaging.

 

3) Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are indicative, in business days (excluding weekends and public holidays), and depend on the carrier and destination country.

 

Deliveries within the EU

  • Typical estimate: 2 to 7 business days after shipment

Deliveries outside the EU

  • Typical estimate: 5 to 15 business days after shipment
  • Delays may be longer in the event of customs inspection

During peak periods (promotions, holidays, logistics events), delivery times may vary.

 

4) Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout, based on:

  • the destination
  • the weight/volume of the parcel
  • the selected carrier

The final amount is displayed before you confirm your order.

 

5) Order Tracking

Once shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You can follow your parcel every step of the way. In some cases, your order may be shipped in multiple parcels (depending on availability or logistics). If so, you will receive multiple tracking numbers.

 

6) Customs & Taxes (outside the EU)

For non-EU deliveries, additional charges may be applied by local authorities:

  • customs duties
  • import VAT
  • carrier handling fees

These fees are not included in your order total and remain the responsibility of the recipient. If a parcel is refused due to unpaid customs/taxes, it may be returned or discarded by local authorities. In such cases, the incurred fees (shipping, customs, etc.) may not be refundable.

 

7) Changing the Address After Ordering

If you notice an error in the shipping address, contact us immediately via our contact page. We will do our best to correct the address before shipment. Once shipped, it may not be possible to modify delivery information.

 

8) Receiving the Parcel: Essential Tips

Upon delivery, we recommend that you:

  1. check the external condition of the parcel
  2. verify that the number of parcels received matches what was expected
  3. in case of a damaged parcel, report it immediately to the delivery person

If the parcel is visibly damaged, request that the note “PARCEL VISIBLY DAMAGED” (or equivalent) is written upon delivery. This will help significantly in case of a claim.

 

Returns & Refunds

We want every order to bring you satisfaction. If, however, a product doesn’t suit you, here are the applicable return conditions.

 

9) Right of Withdrawal (EU customers)

In accordance with European regulations, you have 14 days after receiving your order to inform us of your wish to withdraw. Then, you have an additional 14 days to return the items. To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us via our contact form and provide:

  • your order number
  • the product(s) concerned
  • your name and order email

 

10) Exceptions & Hygiene (beauty / cosmetics)

For reasons of hygiene and sanitary protection, certain products cannot be returned.

Returns accepted only if:

  • the product is new, unused
  • and in its original packaging
  • and with the seal intact if applicable

Returns refused if:

  • the product has been opened/unsealed
  • the product has been tested or used
  • the packaging is damaged in a way that prevents resale

This applies particularly to: makeup, skincare, hygiene items, accessories in direct contact with skin, etc.

Exception: these restrictions do not apply in cases of defective, damaged, or non-compliant products.

 

11) Returns Outside the EU

For orders delivered outside the EU, returns are possible on a case-by-case basis, but:

  • return shipping costs are generally the customer’s responsibility
  • any customs duties / taxes are non-refundable
  • some customs formalities may be required

We recommend contacting our support team before sending anything back to avoid any issues.

 

12) Return Procedure (Simple and Guided)

  1. Contact us at support@makeup.paris
  2. We will confirm if the return is eligible and send you:
    • the return address
    • instructions (and, if applicable, a return label)
  3. Carefully pack the item (reinforced protection recommended)
  4. Send the parcel and keep the proof of shipment

Any return sent without prior request may be refused.

 

13) Return Fees

  • Withdrawal (change of mind): return fees are the customer’s responsibility
  • Preparation error / non-compliant or damaged item: return covered or solution offered (depending on country and situation)

Our priority: a fair and prompt solution.

 

14) Damaged Products, Errors or Missing Items

If your order has an issue (broken item, damaged parcel, missing product, wrong reference…), contact us within 5 calendar days of receipt.

Email support@makeup.paris with:

  • your order number
  • photos of the product + packaging + parcel
  • if possible, a photo of the shipping label

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

  • a replacement
  • the missing item
  • a partial or full refund

 

15) Refunds

Once the return is received and inspected:

  • the refund is made to the original payment method
  • indicative timeframe: 3 to 10 business days (depending on your bank / provider)

Initial shipping fees are only refunded in cases required by law (or if the error is on our part).
